At Newton Primary School we follow the Charanga scheme to teach Music.

The Music Service provides instrumental tuition that seek to encourage all children and young people to participate, enjoy and achieve through music.

In addition to our music curriculum, they provide high-quality music education and performance opportunities that awaken and nurture talent and creativity, build self-esteem, and bring the joy of music to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Engagement with Rock Steady

Rocksteady delivers inclusive band lessons in KS2 that are designed to amplify children’s self-belief, support wellbeing and help maximise their potential back in the classroom.
