Chair of Governors Welcome
A warm welcome from our Chair of Governors, Mr. Limb
I have been involved in education for over 20 years having served as a primary school teacher for 14 years, a Local Authority Teaching and Learning Consultant for 4 years and now as a Product Manager for a national educational data company. As such, I have considerable experience of school self-evaluation and school improvement.
I first became a Governor of a local Primary School over 20 years ago whilst working there as a teacher and jumped at the opportunity to become a Governor at Newton-le-Willows Primary School when my eldest child started in Nursery over 10 years ago. I have chaired several sub-committees during my time on the board and have been the Chair of Governors for the last 2 years.
I thoroughly enjoy the challenging and rewarding role of providing strategic leadership whilst also providing challenge and support to help the Headteacher and senior leaders drive school improvement. I am very proud of our school and consider us extremely lucky to have such a dedicated and committed staff team and Governing Body who strive to ensure that all our pupils achieve their very best in a warm, caring and nurturing environment.
